This waste water tank with built-in macerator has a net volume of 52 l and is designed for marine waste water and black water systems. It is supplied assembled and ready for installation with an integrated 12 V DC electric macerator. The tank is compatible with both manual and electric marine toilets.
The built-in self-priming macerator has a nominal capacity of 43 l/min and delivers 23 l/min at a 3 m head. Power consumption is 12 A, and the pump can self-prime at a vertical lift of up to 0.6 m. The macerator outlet has a diameter of 25 mm. The pump is designed for intermittent duty and should not run continuously for more than 15 minutes or run dry for more than 30 seconds.
The tank measures 450 × 350 × 400 mm (L × D × H) and has a 100 mm notch (D). The inlets have 1 1/2" and 3/4" internal threads, while the vent has a 3/4" internal thread. A separate manual emergency drain with a 1 1/2" internal thread allows the system to be emptied without using the macerator.
An integrated shut-off valve allows the macerator to be isolated during maintenance. The tank is also prepared with a 5-hole flange for a separate level sensor and has protection around the sensor area. The maximum length for an internal level float or sensor is 39 cm. Level sensor is not included.
Designed holders make the tank ready for mounting with the separate bracket, item no. 52.195.00. For the connections, suitable fittings from fitting group 52 in nylon or group 17 in metal can be used, depending on the installation. The tank is manufactured in accordance with ISO 8099, while the included macerator is CE-certified according to EN ISO 8846.
The macerator is designed for toilet waste and toilet paper. Hard objects, cloths, and sanitary products must not be passed through the pump. A momentary switch is recommended for control, so that the pump can be stopped when the change in pump sound indicates that the tank is empty. The included macerator has item no. 50.220.12, and spare impeller 16.193.73 is documented for this pump.
