This waste water tank with built-in Whale Gulper macerator is a pre-assembled 12 V tank unit with a 115 l net volume for collecting and pumping out toilet waste and black water on board. The tank has a flat bottom and comes with the Whale Gulper Toilet Pump BP2552B, item no. 50.113.12, installed.
The electric pump uses diaphragm and valve technology without an impeller. This design makes the pump self-priming, tolerant of dry running, and suitable for both macerated and non-macerated toilet waste. The capacity at open flow is 18 l/min., and the maximum combined suction and lift height is 3 m. The pump can operate continuously for up to 40 minutes and can also be used in vacuum toilet systems.
The tank is designed with hose connectors to reduce the number of threaded connections. This limits potential points for odour penetration. An inspection hatch provides access for cleaning and maintenance, while a pre-drilled five-hole flange makes the tank ready for a separate level sensor with a maximum probe length of 35 cm.
The product dimensions of the tank are approximately 791 × 385 × 385 mm (L × W × H). The flat bottom has moulded recesses for mounting brackets 52.195.00, which are ordered separately. The pump inlet and outlet are designed for 38 mm smooth, thick-walled, non-collapsible hose.
During installation, the hose routing should be kept as short and straight as possible, and two stainless steel hose clamps are recommended at each pump connection. If the outlet is located below the waterline, the installation must be fitted with a correctly ventilated swan neck or another anti-siphon solution. The electrical connection requires correct polarity, at least 1.5 mm² cable, and a recommended 10 A fuse.
The tank unit is manufactured in accordance with ISO 8099. Maintenance kit 50.113.99 as well as Whale service kit AK1557 and clamp set AS1562 are documented for the built-in pump type. The system should be flushed after pump-out and drained during winterization. Use only cleaning agents intended for marine toilets; bleach and drain cleaners should be avoided.
