Wastewater tank with built-in Whale Gulper pump is a pre-assembled tank and pump unit for the collection and discharge of toilet and wastewater in marine installations. This variant has a net volume of 100 l and a built-in 24 V DC pump with item no. 50.113.24.
The Gulper pump operates without an impeller, which reduces the risk of blockage and clogging when handling toilet waste. The pump is self-priming, dry-run capable, and delivers a nominal free flow of 18 l/min. The maximum suction lift and discharge head is 3 m, while the power consumption is stated as 1.8 A. The pump construction includes nylon/fiberglass, Hypalon rubber, brass, and stainless steel.
The pump inlet and outlet are intended for Ø 38 mm or 1½″ hose. Tank connections are, as far as possible, designed as hose tails rather than threaded connections. This limits the number of threaded joints where odors can potentially escape.
The tank has a flat bottom, an inspection hatch, and a pre-drilled 5-hole flange for a separate level sensor. The sensor is not included and must have a maximum length of 35 cm. The unit also features attachment points for mounting brackets with item no. 52.195.00, which are ordered separately.
The unit is designed in accordance with ISO 8099. The built-in pump is intended for emptying marine toilets and wastewater tanks and can also be used in systems with vacuum toilets.
