STAND-PRO weather-resistant guide profile for sliding windows is a double profile for guiding two parallel, sliding glass panels. The profile is 2.44 m long, measures 25 × 11.5 mm in cross-section, and is designed for glass with a nominal thickness of 5/6.5 mm.
The main profile is made of AISI 316 stainless steel. The base consists of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which acts as an anti-friction surface and reduces resistance when the glass is moved in the tracks.
An intermediate layer of neoprene and a vibration-damping felt insert help absorb vibrations. The profile's synthetic side brushes are made of UV-resistant material and provide both slip resistance and vibration dampening around the glass.
The profile is mounted with screws through the profile itself. The construction is weather-resistant and developed for sliding windows and sliding glass in maritime installations, where corrosion-resistant materials and stable glass guidance are necessary.
