STAND-PRO weather-resistant guide profile for sliding glass is a single-track profile for guiding glass in maritime window installations. This variant has an external cross-section of 15 × 15 mm, a length of 2.44 m, and is specified for a glass thickness of 5/6.5 mm.
The outer profile is manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel, which is suitable for installations exposed to weather and moisture. The base of the profile consists of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with low friction, allowing the sliding glass to move along the guide with reduced frictional resistance.
The construction includes an intermediate layer of neoprene and a vibration-damping felt insert. These material layers help absorb movements and vibrations around the glass. UV-resistant synthetic side brushes provide a retaining and vibration-damping function, which limits unwanted glass movement within the profile.
The guide profile is installed using screws through the profile itself. The combination of AISI 316, HDPE, neoprene, felt, and synthetic side brushes makes the profile suitable as a weather-resistant guide for sliding glass, without implying a specified sealing class.
