Description
Star Brite Fiberglass Color Restorer restores the original color and shine of colored hulls. At the same time, PTEF® polymers protect against harmful UV rays and are stain repellent, removing limescale and tarnish from colored hulls. PTEF® is Star Brite's registered trademark for polytetrafluoroethylene.
Star Brite Fiberglass Color Restorer does not damage the fiberglass coating and can be applied by hand or with a polishing machine.
Application
1. Wash the boat with a Star brite boat wash
2. Shake the bottle thoroughly and use a clean, dry cloth to apply Gelcoat Color Restorer with PTEF® to the surface.
3. Rub in a firm, overlapping pattern while the product is wet. Apply to small sections at a time to ensure even coverage.
4. Let it dry until it forms a haze before buffing with a clean, dry cloth.
5. To maintain the new finish, apply Star brite premium polish with PTEF® for boats within 7 days.
Since gelcoats are porous, additional tarnishing may occur after 10-20 days, requiring a reapplication of Star Brite Fiberglass Color Restorer.
