This AISI 316 suction strainer for bilge pumps is mounted at the pump's suction line and helps retain dirt and larger particles before they are passed on to the pump.
The main body is made of AISI 316 stainless steel and is equipped with a stainless steel mesh screen. The low-profile design measures 57 × 58 × 21 mm and is intended for use in bilge systems where space may be limited.
The suction strainer has a 1/2" hose connection, specified for a 16/18 mm hose adapter or hose barb. It can be used with bilge pumps that have this connection size. The connection is a hose barb and should not be confused with a 1/2" pipe thread.
When selecting and installing, the bilge pump connection and hose dimensions should be checked to ensure they correspond to the 1/2" connection and the specified 16/18 mm size.
