This fuel connector for outboard motors is a small female model for Suzuki fuel systems. The connector is made of nylon and features a Ø 10 mm hose barb for connecting the fuel hose.
The connector interface measures Ø 13 mm. This measurement describes the coupling against the mating part, while the Ø 10 mm is the connection size for the hose. The clear distinction between the measurements makes it easier to check both the connector and hose diameter before installation.
The connector is used in Suzuki systems for 2-stroke outboard motors as well as on the tank side in Suzuki 4-stroke systems over 140 HP. Depending on the configuration of the fuel system, it can be used on either the engine or tank side. In setups with free hose, the hose is pushed over the hose barb and secured with a suitable hose clamp.
The same connector has the Honda cross-reference 17660-ZW9-003 and is used on the tank side in Honda fuel systems for 20–130 HP. Always check the connector design, hose diameter, the engine's fuel system, and original part number before purchasing.
