This sealing insert with gasket for waterproof cable connector is designed for 8/10 mm² cable and serves as a sealing component in a modular connector system. It is mounted around the cable behind the contact and connector housing, where it forms the cable seal when the connector assembly is joined.
The insert is manufactured from silicone and is supplied as a separate component. It is not a complete electrical connector and does not come with a connector housing or Faston terminals.
For a complete mated connector assembly for 8/10 mm² cable, four sealing inserts are used together with female connector housing 14.230.10, male connector housing 14.230.20, two female Faston 14.231.30, and two male Faston 14.231.40. The other components are purchased separately.
