Techimpex XL3 gimballed gas stove with 3 burners and oven is developed for marine use and combines a large cooking surface with a gas oven. The three brass burners have a nominal output of 900 W, 1700 W, and 2300 W respectively, while the centrally placed oven burner provides 1.7 kW. The total nominal heat output is 6.60 kW.
The stove is intended for LPG in the form of butane or propane at an operating pressure of 30 mbar. The safety thermocouples cut off the gas supply if the flame goes out. The maximum gas consumption is 485 g/hour at full load, and the oven is equipped with a thermostat and an oven thermometer.
The side-mounted LINEAR gimbal allows the stove to move in relation to the boat's heel. A locking mechanism makes it possible to fix the appliance when it should not swing. Pot holder bars and two pairs of pot supports help to keep cookware in place during use.
The stove housing and central panel parts are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the oven is enamelled. The oven door has double front glass, and the centrally placed oven burner contributes to a more uniform heat distribution. The removable enamelled oven tray and drip/heat distribution tray facilitate cleaning and maintenance.
The stove housing measures 500 mm in width, while the total width including gimbal is 530 mm. The depth is 484 mm and the height is 460 mm. The cooking surface is dimensioned for standard household pots.
The gas installation must be carried out by a competent installer with components intended for LPG and in accordance with current national regulations. Ensure sufficient ventilation, and do not block the ventilation openings during use. The appliance must not be used as a room heater, and the gas supply at the bottle must be closed when the stove is not in use.
