Panel/bulkhead-mounted plug/socket connector from Techno is a detachable electrical connection for fixed mounting through a panel, wall, or bulkhead. The connection is 2/3/4-pole and has an IP66 protection rating, making it suitable for protected electrical installations in demanding maritime environments.
The connection is rated for a max. of 17.5 A and conductors with a cross-section of 0.5–4 mm². The cable specification is 1 × (4–12) mm or 2 × (2–4) mm and is preserved in the specified format so that the relevant cable and seal solution can be selected correctly.
The panel part is mounted through material with a thickness of 1–7 mm. The outer diameter is 23 mm. The construction includes screw contacts, while the plug connection is coupled and secured with a screw ring.
To achieve the stated protection, the parts must be oriented correctly, assembled completely, and tightened with the locking ring. At the same time, a seal that matches the cable type and cable dimension must be used.
