This Techno Heavy-Duty busbar with transparent cover in the Maxi Bus Bar version is intended for the connection and distribution of power cables in electrical installations with a voltage of up to 48 V. The variant features 12 distribution terminals of 5 mm and 2 power terminals of 8 mm, as well as a continuous current capacity of 250 A.
The busbar provides a common electrical connection point where multiple cables can be connected to the same potential. It can be used in low-voltage onboard installations as well as relevant electrical installations in vehicles, motorhomes, and campervans. The product is not limited to a specific polarity.
The base is manufactured from technopolymer, while the conductive busbars are made of tinned copper. The fasteners consist of stainless steel screws. The transparent protective cover makes the terminal area visible while shielding the connections.
The cables are attached directly to the copper busbar without intermediate nuts. The power cables can be oriented in any direction, providing flexibility for cable routing. The base measures 197 × 38 mm; this measurement indicates the base itself and not the full three-dimensional dimensions of the product.
