This 2-pole mini power distributor with protective cap from Techno is a compact TH625/TEEBOX distributor for waterproof electrical micro-connections. It splits one electrical connection into three parallel outputs and is directly compatible with the 2-pole plug/socket system with item no. 14.374.02.
The distributor has an H-shaped configuration with one male input and three female outputs. All four connection points are internally connected in parallel and rated for two poles. The included, attached protective cap protects the exposed plug connection when it is not connected.
The TH625 distributor housing measures 58.8 × 39.25 × 16.39 mm and is made of hot-melt thermoplastic material. The finish is black with turquoise green sealing and locking elements. The system is halogen and silicone-free, has TPE gaskets, and silver-plated brass contacts.
The power distributor is rated for up to 10 A and has an IP68 protection rating with xDRY technology. It is also rated with IK06 impact resistance, overvoltage category II, pollution degree 2, and tracking index PTI 175. The construction is tested against corrosion with a 1,000-hour salt spray test in 5% saline solution at 35 °C.
The connection system uses Techno TH381 micro-connectors. The separate cable connectors are not included and must be ordered separately. During installation, the connector and distributor are assembled with a push-pull/click connection and orientation markings. The cable diameter must be 5–7.5 mm, and the cable cross-section is 1 mm². For cable bending, the bend radius must be at least four times the cable diameter, and transverse cable loads should be avoided to maintain the seal.
The system connectors use screw terminals. The maximum tightening torque for the conductor terminals is 0.1 Nm, while the cable gland and nut may be tightened by a maximum of 1.5 Nm. The reference standards are EN 61984 and EN 61535.
