The Tecma Elegance 2G electric marine toilet in the Short Deep Bowl version is a compact 12 V toilet for marine installations with limited space. The toilet features a low, deep bowl, an integrated MAC 11 macerator pump, and a touch panel. The compact depth of 434 mm provides ample bowl space without taking up unnecessary space on board.
The bowl is made of white ceramic and measures 355 mm in height, 377 mm in width, and 434 mm in depth. The seat and lid are made of thermosetting plastic with soft-close, and the seat is concealed when the lid is closed. The product weight is 23.5 kg.
The integrated MAC 11 macerator pump grinds the waste before it is transported to the blackwater tank. The pump has a maximum specified capacity of 270 l/min, a maximum vertical lift of 11 m, and a maximum horizontal transport distance of 90 m under the specified installation conditions. The drain requires a hose with a 1.5" connection and 38.5 mm inner diameter. Integrated non-return valves and an air intake valve reduce the risk of backflow and siphon effects.
Flush water is supplied through a high-pressure nozzle that distributes water over the interior surface of the bowl without a traditional rim. Water consumption can be regulated from 0.5 to 2.7 liters per flush. The included 12 V solenoid valve is intended for the boat's central pressurized freshwater system and has a recommended operating pressure of 3 bar, 1/2" internal thread, and a power consumption of 9.5 W.
The included Touch SFT control panel features tempered glass, LED backlighting, and a proximity sensor. Functions include flush water volume regulation, overflow protection, system lock, emergency flush, and blackwater tank monitoring. The sailing mode leaves the bowl almost empty after flushing, while the harbor mode automatically refills the bowl with water.
The Deep Bowl version is mounted through the floor, placing the motor and internal hoses beneath the ceramic bowl. The installation therefore requires a suitable floor cutout and space under the toilet. The model is designed for a raised pedestal, typically around 100 mm, and uses concealed side mounting. For seawater flushing, a separate 12 V pump with item no. 16.525.12 can be used instead of connecting to the pressurized freshwater system.
