This Tecma Sanisplit NK greywater transfer system is an automatic 24 V DC system for discharging greywater on board. The integrated centrifugal macerator pump shreds and pumps wastewater to a separate holding tank, allowing for more flexible placement of sinks, bidets, showers, washing machines, dishwashers, and condensate drains.
The pump is started automatically by a pressure switch when water enters the internal tank. The capacity is up to 270 l/min, the maximum horizontal pumping distance is 90 m, and the maximum vertical lift is 10 m. An integrated check valve prevents pumped water from flowing back into the unit. The combination of quiet pump operation and an internal rubber tank reduces operating noise.
The patented SPLIT system separates the fixed tank and connection section from the removable service module containing the pump, motor, pressure switch, and control components. The service module can therefore be removed without disconnecting the fixed drain connections. In case of a partial blockage, the pump can be activated manually using the button on the side for a maximum of 20 seconds at a time, for up to three cycles.
The system measures 270 × 470 × 175 mm in height, width, and depth and has a plastic housing with an internal rubber tank. It is IP55 rated but not submersible, and must be installed in a dry area with no risk of flooding or direct water exposure. When connecting to a shower tray, the unit must be placed at least 200 mm below the lowest edge of the shower tray. A minimum fall of 20 cm to the unit is required for proper activation of the pressure switch.
Up to three installations can be connected when used separately and periodically rather than continuously at the same time. No more than one connected installation may be capable of delivering a continuous water flow, such as a shower. It is generally recommended to use one unit per bathroom or kitchen. In the event of a power failure, connected installations must not be used, as the greywater cannot be pumped away.
The 24 V variant has a rated power of 480 W, a maximum current draw of 25 A, and requires a recommended 30 A fuse, which is not included. The greywater temperature may be up to 70 °C for a maximum of 10 minutes. Avoid vinegar as well as acetone- and trichloroethylene-based cleaning agents, which can damage the rubber components. Gel and foam products should also be avoided, as they can block the ventilation.
