TECMA Silence Plus 2G electric marine toilet in the Short Deep Bowl version is a 24 V DC toilet for blackwater systems in boats and yachts. This variant features a large ceramic bowl, reduced ceramic height, and component routing through the floor. An All-in-One control panel and a solenoid valve system for the boat's central freshwater supply are included.
The white ceramic bowl measures nominally 360 mm in height, 397 mm in width, and 513 mm in depth. The Short version is designed for installation on a raised step, typically around 100 mm, so that the reduced ceramic height can be combined with a total seat height of approximately 460 mm. The seat and lid are made of thermosetting plastic and feature a dampened Soft Close mechanism.
The integrated MAC 11 macerator/discharge pump transports wastewater through a DN 40 outlet. The pump system's nominal data includes a maximum output of up to 270 l/min, a vertical lift of up to 11 m, and a horizontal transport distance of up to 90 m. Actual performance depends on height difference, back pressure, pipe dimensions, bends, and other pressure losses in the installation. The internal hose system also includes an air inlet/anti-siphon valve, which prevents siphoning and backflow.
Flush water consumption can be adjusted electronically from 0.5 to 2.7 liters per flush. The included 24 V solenoid valve connects to a central, pressurized freshwater system with a recommended operating pressure of 3 bar. The solenoid valve has a power consumption of 10 W and a 1/2" threaded connection. If a separate seawater intake is desired, the solenoid valve can be replaced with a suitable 24 V inlet pump; the pump with item no. 16.525.24 is documented for this installation.
The toilet is mounted with concealed side fastenings and has a floor footprint of 405 × 280 mm. The motor and hoses are routed through the floor and protrude approximately 68 mm below floor level. The floor footprint must not be used as a cutout template; the complete installation template and the included manual must be followed. L-brackets and stainless steel fasteners are used for installation.
The included All-in-One panel has two buttons and integrated controls, and is supplied with both a white and a black frame. The panel has item no. 50.226.50. Relevant service parts include the 24 V replacement pump 50.226.61 and the Soft Close seat 50.226.91 for Silence Plus Generation 1 and 2.
Keep the solenoid valve filters clean and route the discharge pipe as directly as possible to limit pressure loss. Only human waste and suitable toilet paper may be flushed; wet wipes, paper towels, hygiene products, and other foreign objects can damage the macerator pump.
