This Tessilmare BINO 40 end cap for fender profile is a grey PVC finishing piece for the BINO 40 system. It is mounted at the end of the profile and provides the fender profile with a correct finish on the boat's hull side.
The end cap is compatible with the Tessilmare BINO 40 fender profile. The model designation 40 refers to the compatible profile system, the profile of which has a nominal height of 40 mm and a projection of 22 mm. These measurements describe the profile and not the end cap's own external dimensions.
During installation, the base part of the BINO 40 profile is attached directly to the boat, after which the top part is pressed or tapped into place with a rubber mallet. The profile is cut to size, the end is secured, and the end cap is mounted last. The end cap must partially overlap the end of the profile and must not be attached to the side of the profile.
The BINO 40 system consists of a base part and a top part, which conceals the mounting screws. The system is mounted cold without preheating and is flexible enough to follow complex curves. The end cap can be used with both the grey BINO 40 profile with item no. 44.046.00 and the black BINO 40 profile with item no. 44.045.00.
Alternative finishes for BINO 40 include the black end cap 44.045.94 and the stainless steel end cap 44.045.84. BINO 65 and BINO 90 use different end caps and are not compatible with this variant.
