Tessilmare QBE end cap for fender profile is a PVC finishing piece for the QBE 90 fender profile. This variant is grey in color RAL 7047 and finishes the profile end with a custom transition. The product is the end cap itself and not the fender profile.
The end cap is part of the two-part QBE system, where the fender profile consists of a base and a top insert. The top insert hides the profile's fasteners, while the end cap closes the cut profile end. The QBE system's square profile shape is designed for impact protection along the boat's exposed areas.
During installation, the profile base and top insert are adjusted, after which the profile end is cut. The finishing profile parts are secured with a screw, and the end cap is mounted to partially overlap the profile end. The end cap must not be secured from the side.
The end cap is compatible with the Tessilmare QBE 90 fender profile in grey RAL 7047, including the profile with item no. 44.100.02. The QBE system can be mounted on flat surfaces as well as used at boxed/deck joints and sandwich joints. A pre-drilled support or mounting rail can be used as extra reinforcement for the QBE 90 system; the 2 m stainless rail has item no. 44.047.01.
The manufacturer's color-specific item number is 130-500-103-G, based on the base number 130-500-103. When installing on aluminum boats, aluminum-based mounting accessories should be used rather than stainless accessories.
