Tessilmare Radial 30 PVC fender profile is a white, external protective profile for the Radial 30 system. It is supplied as a continuous 24 m roll and is used as the boat's visible fender profile or rub rail along the joint between the hull and deck.
The profile is made of soft to semi-rigid PVC with high flexibility, allowing it to follow the curves of the hull and be cut to size as needed. The white surface corresponds to RAL 9010. The loose insert has a documented total width of 34.0 mm and an external radius of R17.0 mm. The designation 32 mm is a nominal size indication and should not be confused with the profile's actual total width.
This item number includes only the external PVC profile. The rigid Radial 30 mounting rail is not included. For a complete system, the rail with item no. 44.032.05 is required, corresponding to Tessilmare 130-141-006, which is supplied in 2 m lengths and fixed to the hull with screws or blind rivets.
After mounting the rail, the PVC profile is pressed or rolled onto the rail's retaining fins. Welding and preheating are not necessary for Radial 30. Installation can begin at the transom and continue towards the bow. During work, the profile should be stretched approx. 2-3 cm per meter to achieve a tight fit. The longest lip on both the rail and profile must face downwards.
The profile ends are fixed with one or two screws and finished with suitable end or joint caps. Documented terminations include the white PVC end cap 44.030.01 and stainless steel end cap 44.484.00. Tessilmare's corresponding component numbers are 130-500-010-W and 130-500-500, while the white joint cap has manufacturer number 130-500-310-W.
The PVC surface can be cleaned with a liquid degreaser. Special agents for cleaning PVC must be diluted correctly, as overly strong mixtures can damage the profile. The system's removable design allows the external profile to be disassembled, repaired, or reinstalled.
