This RADIAL stainless steel end cap from Tessilmare is model RADIAL 65 and is used as a finishing piece for a RADIAL 65 fender profile. The end cap covers the end of the profile, providing a cohesive finish to the hull's protective profile.
The end cap is made of 316L stainless steel and was developed specifically for the RADIAL 65 system. The system consists of a hidden, rigid Duralene mounting track and a soft PVC outer profile that is mounted onto the track. The track, outer profile, and end cap are separate components.
During installation, the end of the profile is trimmed, after which the final part of the profile is secured. The end cap is positioned so that it partially overlaps the profile end. It must not be secured from the side. The RADIAL system is intended for mounting over the joint between the hull and deck; for flush mounting, installation should be clarified with the manufacturer.
The end cap fits the Tessilmare RADIAL 65 fender profile. The current cross-section of the complete profile is specified as 62.2 mm in width and 38.1 mm in projection; these dimensions describe the compatible profile and not the product dimensions of the end cap itself.
To build a complete RADIAL 65 profile, the rigid mounting track with item no. 44.065.05 is used, along with a soft PVC outer profile: item no. 44.065.02 in white, 44.065.03 in grey, or 44.065.04 in black. A joint cover for RADIAL 65 is available as item no. 44.042.17.
