These stainless steel end terminals for fender profiles are an end cap set for the Tessilmare RADIAL 80. The set consists of two end pieces that finish the ends of the fender profile and provide the RADIAL system with a professional look.
The end terminals are made of 316L stainless steel and are shaped for the complete RADIAL 80 profile. The compatible profile has a total cross-section of 80 × 42 mm; these dimensions describe the fender profile and not the external dimensions of the end terminals themselves.
The RADIAL system is intended for mounting over the joint between the hull and deck and consists of a rigid base rail and a soft PVC profile insert. When finishing, the profile end is first secured with one or two screws, after which the end terminal is mounted so that it partially overlaps the profile end. The end terminal must not be fastened from the side.
When installing the complete RADIAL 80 system, the compatible PVC insert must be preheated for 30–60 minutes at 40–60 °C or warmed in the sun. This requirement applies to the PVC insert and not the end cap set itself. For the base rail, self-drilling A4/316 stainless steel screws are recommended; screws are not documented as part of this set.
