This awning rail profile from Tessilmare is a 4 m long insertion profile in white semi-rigid PVC for securing sprayhoods, bimini tops, sunshades, and other marine textile covers with sewn-in keder piping.
The profile features a longitudinal channel through which the keder piping is fed. The corresponding soft PVC keder piping, item no. 44.010.03, has a diameter of 6.5 mm and is sewn into the fabric before being fed into the profile.
The profile's external cross-section is 14 mm wide and 13 mm high. The internal mounting groove is Ø 9 mm and is also used for placing self-tapping mounting screws. The design has a flat mounting base and a rounded insertion groove.
The semi-rigid PVC profile is flexible in all three axes and can follow curves with small radii without deforming. This makes it suitable for mounting along, for example, curved surfaces on sprayhoods, bimini tops, windshields, and roll bars.
