This stainless mounting profile for fender profiles from Tessilmare is a 2 m long, pre-drilled C-profile for mounting and reinforcing BINO 65 and BINO 90 fender profiles. The profile stabilizes the installation and helps distribute the fastening along the boat's hull.
The mounting profile is made of 316L stainless steel and has a nominal profile height of 25 mm. The natural stainless steel surface and the corrosion-resistant material quality make the profile suitable for maritime installations. The linear weight is 300 g/m.
During installation, the base of the fender profile is placed together with the steel profile. The pre-drilled holes are used as a drilling guide, after which the base and the mounting profile are mechanically fastened to the boat with screws. The final part of the fender profile is then pressed into place, usually using a rubber mallet. The distance between the profile's pre-drilled holes is 20 cm.
The profile is directly compatible with Tessilmare BINO 65 and BINO 90 as well as QBE 90. It can be used together with the BINO profiles with item no. 44.045.01, 44.046.01, 44.045.03, and 44.046.03, as well as the QBE 90 profile with item no. 44.100.02. The profile is not specified for BINO 40 or QBE 65.
For BINO 65/90 installation, self-tapping oval head screws in A4/316 stainless steel with a 4.8 mm shank and 9.5 mm head diameter are recommended. Suitable screw standards are DIN 7983, UNI 6956, or ISO 7051, and the recommended drill size is 4 or 4.2 mm. Screws are not documented as part of the delivery. For installation on aluminum boats, the separate aluminum profile with manufacturer no. 130-110-185 is recommended.
