This SPHÆRA stainless steel end cap set for standard PVC base is designed for finishing the Tessilmare SPHÆRA 25 fender profile. The set consists of two handed end caps – one for the left side and one for the right side – which protect the profile ends and provide the fender profile system with a finished look.
The end caps are manufactured from AISI 316L marine-grade stainless steel. They are designed for the SPHÆRA 25 profile when installed with the wide standard PVC base. The stated product dimensions are 41 mm in width and 60 mm in height, and the mounting holes have a diameter of 5 mm.
Each end cap is secured with two screws. Countersunk, dome-head A4/316-grade screws are recommended, but the screws are not included. During installation, apply silicone to the end of the steel profile, then position the end cap so that it partially overlaps the profile end. The end cap should not be fixed along the side of the profile.
The set fits the SPHÆRA 25 profile with item no. 44.060.25 and the white standard PVC base with item no. 44.061.25. It is not the correct finish for the Slim base; for SPHÆRA 25 with Slim base, use end cap 44.064.25.
The manufacturer part number is 130-500-725. The US prefix variant T130-500-725 refers to the same manufacturer part number. For cleaning and maintenance of the stainless steel, a polishing cream designed for stainless steel may be used.
