This rigid Duralene base rail from Tessilmare is the base component for a 55 mm fender profile and rub rail system in version D. The rail is white, has a length of 4 m, and is mounted along the boat's hull side as a base for a separate flexible PVC insert.
The fender profile is built as a two-part system, where the base rail and the front insert are sold separately and assembled into a complete, protective rub rail. This item includes only the rigid base rail; flexible PVC insert, end caps, and joint cover are not included.
The base rail is made of rigid Duralene plastic and has a profile height of 55 mm. The protrusion for the deck edge is 5 mm. The construction is shatterproof, shape-retaining, and weather-resistant, and it can be bent without forming creases, allowing it to follow the lines of the boat during installation.
Compatible front inserts include the white insert with item no. 44.055.40 and the black insert with item no. 44.055.60. The system can be finished with the white ABS end cap 44.055.01, while joints can be covered with the white joint cover 44.042.22 measuring 55 × 55 mm. The flexible inserts are supplied separately in rolls of 20 m.
