This connection set with 2 swivel brass fittings for 14 MB filters is used to connect 8 mm fuel hoses to compatible petrol and diesel filters. The fitting set has an M14 × 1.5 thread, which is also referred to as 14 MB.
The set contains 2 swivel brass fittings, 2 hose nozzles for 8 mm hose, and 4 copper gaskets. The copper gaskets are placed at the threaded connections, while the swivel design makes it possible to orient the hose nozzles in relation to the filter's connections.
The connection set can be used with filter item no. 17.638.00, 17.639.00, 17.656.00, 17.656.05, 17.661.15, 17.666.00, 17.666.01 and 17.842.10. Compatibility requires a 14 MB filter thread and a hose that fits an 8 mm hose nozzle.
Older, discontinued filter item no. 17.662.00, 17.662.01, 17.663.00 and 17.663.04 also use this connection. For installations with a 10 mm fuel hose, the alternative sister variant 17.638.03 is available.
As an alternative to the swivel set, a straight brass hose nozzle for 8 mm hose and M14 × 1.5 thread is available under item no. 17.660.02.
