This connection kit with 2 swivel brass couplings for filters connects compatible petrol and diesel filters with M14 x 1.5 threads to fuel hoses with a 10 mm connection.
The kit contains two swivel brass couplings, two 10 mm hose barbs, and four copper gaskets. The swivel couplings allow for the orientation of the hose connections in relation to the filter's position.
The filter-side thread is M14 x 1.5, also referred to as 14 MB. The 10 mm hose size is the connection dimension for the hose barbs and not the outside diameter of the couplings.
Compatible filters
The kit is documented as an optional accessory for filters with item no. 17.638.00, 17.639.00, 17.656.00, 17.656.05, 17.661.15, 17.660.00, 17.666.00, 17.666.01, and 17.842.10. It is also specified for the discontinued filter variants 17.662.00, 17.662.01, 17.663.00, and 17.663.04.
The sister variant 17.638.02 has the same M14 x 1.5 thread but is designed for an 8 mm hose. If a separate, non-swiveling 10 mm brass fitting with the same filter thread is required, item no. 17.660.03 is available as an alternative.
