This fuel connector for outboard motors is a large male connector for mounting on the fuel tank. It is designed for Tohatsu systems and is also used in documented fuel systems for older Honda engines as well as several Suzuki configurations.
The connector is installed via a 1/4" NPT thread directly into or onto the tank. The coupling end has an outer diameter of Ø13 mm, while the total length is approx. 35.10 mm. The design is made of silver-colored metal with a hexagonal wrench surface and an integrated valve/ball function.
For Tohatsu, the connector belongs to match group B and is compatible with the large female connector, item no. 52.392.61. This mating connector has a Ø10 mm hose barb; this dimension applies to the matching female connector and not this male connector.
Honda compatibility includes the tank side on systems up to and including model year 1990. In Suzuki systems, the connector is used as a Ø13 mm tank connector for 2-stroke engines up to 65 HP and 70-140 HP, as well as for 4-stroke engines both up to and over 140 HP. The compatibility refers to documented system configurations and is not a complete list of engine models.
