The bag is suitable for a four-person safety kit for sailing within 12 nautical miles. The associated kit is equipped with four 150 N life jackets. The 150 N indication refers to the life jackets in the compatible kit and is not a buoyancy specification for the bag itself.

Variant 4/12 is specifically linked to navigation/safety kit 22.411.43. It should not be confused with the Marsupio bags for four- or six-person kits with 100 N life jackets.
