This wooden block with shackle and swivel is a 125 mm (5") single sheave block, designed for lines up to 16 mm. A classic solution for mechanical advantage and changing the direction of lines on board.
The shackle and swivel allow for flexible mounting and reduce the risk of the line twisting during use. Suitable for many tasks on deck, such as trimming, lifting, and general line handling where a robust wooden block is desired.
