Magnification/lens 20-60 x 60
The image is from 20-60 times larger than what the naked eye sees. 7x is the recommended magnification in marine binoculars. The second number 60 indicates how large the diameter of the lens is. The higher the number, the better the light penetration. This is an advantage in poor light. For marine use, a 50 mm lens is recommended.
BK-7 Prism
Borosilicate prism material of class B. Has good ability to transport light and image from the objective, through the prisms to the eyepiece and out to the eye.
Multi-Coated
Allows 90% light transmission.
