This exhaust muffler with water trap for wet exhaust systems is designed for marine installations with a Ø 51 mm exhaust hose. It dampens engine exhaust noise and is engineered to keep backpressure to a minimum.
The integrated water trap collects cooling water from the wet exhaust system when the engine is shut down. A volume of 5 liters helps prevent siphoning and reduces the risk of water flowing back towards the engine.
The construction consists of end caps in acid-resistant stainless steel and a main body in reinforced rubber. This combination is developed for use in marine exhaust systems, where the component is exposed to both exhaust gas and cooling water.
The mounting brackets can be rotated and oriented as needed, allowing the muffler to be adapted to the installation location. This variant has a connection diameter ØA of 51 mm, a diameter ØB of 160 mm, as well as dimensions C 250 mm, D 420 mm, and E 190 mm.
The muffler is sized for engines of up to 50 HP. Compatibility is determined by the wet exhaust system, the 51 mm hose connection, and the maximum power of the engine.
