Exhaust silencer for wet exhaust systems with a Ø 90 mm connection is intended for marine engine installations with a maximum engine output of 200 HP. It reduces engine exhaust noise while keeping the impact of back pressure to a minimum.
The silencer has a capacity of 15 litres. The water capacity helps to reduce the risk of siphoning and backflow of water into the engine when the engine is stopped.
The construction consists of a reinforced rubber body and stainless steel end caps. The rotating mounting brackets can be adjusted to the desired mounting position, making it easier to place the unit in the engine room.
The connection has a diameter of 90 mm, while the body itself has an external diameter of 203 mm and a body length of 500 mm. The total length measurement is 760 mm, and the vertical mounting dimension is 215 mm.
When sizing, the exhaust hose diameter, system configuration, and the engine manufacturer's permissible back pressure must always be checked. The specification of max. 200 HP is a sizing parameter and is not in itself documentation of compatibility with every engine with this output.
