This exhaust sleeve for MerCruiser engines is the BRAVO exhaust model and cross-references to Mercury/MerCruiser OEM no. 32-807458T. It is intended as a flexible connection in the exhaust system on selected MerCruiser 4.3L/262 V6 engines.
The sleeve connects the exhaust manifold to the exhaust Y-pipe in installations with one-piece manifolds. The short, corrugated design provides the necessary flexible transition between the components. The product must not be confused with the external exhaust bellows at the drive's bell housing or transom assembly.
Compatible engine models
Documented applications include 262 MAG TBI Gen+ from 1996-1997, 4.3L Gen+ 2 BBL GM 262 V6 from 1998, 4.3L EFI Gen+ TBI GM 262 V6 from 1998, 4.3LH Gen+ 4 BBL GM 262 V6 from 1998, as well as 4.3LX Gen+ 2 BBL and 4.3LXH Gen+ 4 BBL GM 262 V6 from 1996-1997. Compatibility depends on the engine serial number, manifold type, and existing OEM number; the designation BRAVO exhaust does not mean that the sleeve fits all Bravo installations.
Replaces OEM numbers
The primary OEM reference is Mercury/MerCruiser 32-807458T, also listed as 807458T. Documented cross-references for the same OEM part include Sierra 18-2770, Mallory 9-72804, CEF 500532, Recmar REC32-807458T, and EMP 61-61102.
The item is supplied individually. In the relevant 4.3L Alpha/Bravo engine installation, two exhaust sleeves are used per complete assembly. Clamps and other mounting parts are not documented as part of the delivery.
Always check the engine/drive model, serial number, manifold type, and original part number before purchasing.
