This tie bar for outboard motors with hydraulic steering is an Ultraflex A90 for installations with two Suzuki DF100, DF115, or DF140 outboard motors and two hydraulic steering cylinders. The adjustable tie bar connects the steering system of the motors, allowing the two motors to be steered together.
The A90 is intended for a twin-engine installation with two front-mounted Ultraflex UC128-OBF cylinders, one at each engine. The system setup uses one UC128-OBF/2 starboard cylinder and one UC128P-OBF/2 port cylinder. The design allows the motors to be tilted independently of each other.
The tie bar can be adjusted for a motor center-to-center distance from 660 to 950 mm, corresponding to 26–37.4 inches. The range is a mounting and compatibility measurement between the centers of the engines and does not indicate the physical total length of the tie bar.
All components are made of stainless steel. The ball joints are also made of stainless steel and have an electropolished surface. The product is CE and UKCA marked.
