This Ultraflex AF45 45° adjustable hydraulic fitting is designed for the connection between a hydraulic steering pump and a 3/8″ tube in a hydraulic boat steering system. The angled shape allows for the tubing connection to be established in a 45° orientation at the rear of the steering pump.
The fitting is made of nickel-plated brass and features an ORB connection in size #6 towards the steering pump as well as a 3/8″ compression connection towards the tube. The thread on the pump side is 9/16″-18 UNF 2A, while the tube connection has 9/16″-24 UNEF 2A.
The adjustable and swivel design allows the angled fitting to be oriented correctly during installation. The model is AF45, and the manufacturer part number is 41284A.
AF45 is designed for Ultraflex SilverSteer steering pumps. When used with other steering pumps in the UP series, the pump's connection thread and the relevant system documentation must be checked before installation.
