GEMINI mechanical dual-lever control box for throttle and gear from Ultraflex is a top-mount B46 model with two bent levers for separate operation of throttle and gear on a single inboard engine. Each lever has one function, so the engine speed and gear shifting are controlled independently.
The control box is intended for flush mounting in a dashboard or console. The die-cast marine-grade aluminum housing and chrome-plated metal levers are suitable for exposed mounting locations, such as a flybridge, where the controls may be subject to sea spray. The lever travel is ±95°.
The throttle lever has adjustable friction, which prevents accidental changes to the throttle position. The gear lever has detents for forward, neutral, and reverse. Both the throttle friction and the gear mechanism can be adjusted from the outside.
The control box housing measures 150 mm in length and 74 mm in width. The external height above the mounting surface is 180 mm, while the installation depth is 240 mm.
The B46 can be used directly with control cables in the C2, C8, and MACHZero series. C7 and C0 cables are also listed as compatible. When using C22 cables, the K22 adapter/connection kit is required, with manufacturer part no. 34713Q or item no. 45.022.00.
The X12 neutral safety switch can be installed as an optional extra and prevents the engine from starting when the gear control is not in neutral. The switch is not included and must be ordered separately as manufacturer part no. 34543Q or item no. 45.012.00. With the X12 installed, the control box meets the requirements of EN ISO 11547. The model does not have a power trim switch or a positive neutral lock.
