ULTRAFLEX engine control cables are made of plastic-coated stainless steel. Resistant to UV light, salt water and with exceptional flexibility, strength and always smooth running. Meets the requirements of all engine manufacturers and can be adapted to almost all engines using special fittings.
HOW TO FIND OUT HOW LONG YOUR CABLE SHOULD BE:
· Measure the distance from the center of your engine to the corner of the boat, line A.
· Then measure the distance from the center of your control box to the corner of the boat, line B.
· Then add the two lengths together (A+B), then add 3 feet so that the cable is long enough for the motor to have full freedom of movement.
· Gear/throttle cable = total length.
