Mechanical single-lever control for top mounting for single-engine boats, where throttle and gear are controlled together via mechanical control cables. The control can be used for outboard, sterndrive, and inboard installations depending on the variant.
The dual-action lever controls both engine speed and gear shifting. The lever can be pulled out to disengage the gear function during engine warm-up, while the throttle can still be adjusted. The design prevents accidental gear engagement unless the engine is in neutral. The lever position can be adjusted in 5° increments, and the throttle function can be reversed from push to pull by rotating the lever hub 180°.
The variants feature a marine-grade aluminum housing with a black finish and chrome-plated control lever. One variant has an integrated electric power trim switch in the handle for operating engine tilt and trim, while the other is fully mechanical and supplied without a trim switch. Neither variant has adjustable friction.
The control box is mounted on top of a console or dashboard. The control stroke is 67 mm at the inner hole and 78 mm at the outer hole and must not exceed the engine's permitted stroke. The outer sheaths of the control cables must first be secured at least 500 mm from the control box. The lever and gear mechanism must be in neutral during installation, and final adjustment should be performed with the boat in the water and the engine running.
Compatible cables are C2, C7, C8, C14, MACHZero, and MACH14. C5, C16, and MACH5 require the K35 connection kit, item no. 45.252.35. C14 and MACH14 may require K51 depending on the installation. C22, C36, and MACH36 are not compatible. X12 neutral safety switch can be purchased separately under item no. 45.012.00. With X12 installed, the installation meets or exceeds EN ISO 11547. Installation should be performed by a qualified technician.
