Ultraflex SilverSteer high-pressure hose kit model KIT OB-SVS-55 consists of two 5.5 m flexible high-pressure hoses for hydraulic steering systems with a single steering station. The hoses connect the hydraulic pump to the engine's hydraulic steering cylinder and are supplied ready for installation.
The hoses feature a Kevlar-reinforced construction, pre-crimped fittings, and anti-kink sleeves at both ends. This construction protects the hoses at the connections and limits harmful bending. The inner hose diameter is 5/16", and the documented minimum bend radius is 250 mm.
The hose kit is designed for Ultraflex SilverSteer and MasterDrive steering pumps with a relief valve at 105 bar (1500 psi). It is used, among other things, in conjunction with UP-SVS pumps and the UC130-SVS steering cylinder. This hose series is mandatory when installing an Ultraflex UP-SVS pump.
The documented pressure limit is 120 bar (1700 psi). When connecting to the pump and cylinder, the hose nuts must be tightened to 20 Nm using a 17 mm wrench. The hoses must not be installed under tension and should be routed so they do not rub against or collide with boat components throughout the full range of cylinder movement.
The hoses are pre-assembled and must not be shortened. The crimped fittings must also not be replaced. The manufacturer number for KIT OB-SVS-55 is 43592Y.
