Universal life raft cradle for rapid deployment is intended for the secure storage and quick release of leisure life rafts in a hard canister with 4–12 berths. This variant is mounted vertically on a bulkhead, wall, or pulpit.
The cradle has a mirror-polished frame made of AISI 316 stainless steel. Installation is carried out using four precision-cast stainless steel clamps, which are included as a complete set.
The life raft is secured by a 50 mm wide nylon-coated stainless steel strap. The strap is fastened with a robust cam buckle with a hook, which is opened to quickly release the raft. The cam buckle also has a ring or eyelet for a padlock.
The cradle is adapted to the specific raft canister during installation. The strap is shortened according to the height of the life raft, while the cradle tubes are drilled according to the length of the raft. Therefore, check the dimensions and location of the canister before adjusting the strap and tubes.
