This universal flush muff for inboard engines is mounted over the engine's raw water intake and used to supply flushing water through the normal cooling water intake. It is designed for raw water intakes from 3/8" to 2" and measures 160 × 97 mm.
The flush muff is secured with a T-shaped pin, which is inserted through the slots in the raw water intake. The design keeps the muff positioned over the intake during flushing and therefore requires a raw water intake with suitable slots for the T-pin.
The water connection consists of a 3/4" BSP threaded stud. A separate snap-coupling adapter with item no. 36.189.04 can be screwed onto the thread so that a suitable water hose can be connected with a snap coupling. The adapter is not included.
The product is universal within the specified intake range, but is not tied to a specific engine brand or engine model. Before use, check that the muff can cover the raw water intake and that the T-pin can be securely held in the intake slots.
