Universal engine flushing cup with telescopic rod for inboard engines is used to supply flushing water through the motor installation's seawater intake while the boat is on land. This version has an adjustable working length of 460–770 mm and a rubber cup with a diameter of 140 mm.
The rubber suction cup is placed over the hull fitting’s scoop strainer or a similarly accessible seawater intake. The telescopic tube is supported against the ground and acts as a brace, keeping the cup tight against the intake during flushing. The product is portable and does not require permanent mounting.
The telescopic tube is made of aluminum, while the flushing cup itself is made of rubber. This combination provides an adjustable design that can be adapted to the distance between the seawater intake and the ground within the working range of 460–770 mm.
The water hose is clicked onto the universal garden hose-style quick connector, after which the water is fed through the seawater intake to the engine's cooling water system. The term "universal" applies to this method of attachment; the cup must be able to cover the intake, and there must be a possibility to establish a secure brace against the ground.
