This Utility raw water filter for engine cooling is intended for mounting on the engine's raw water intake. The variant has a 1 1/2" threaded connection and a catalog-specified flow of 300 l/min.
The filter retains impurities in the cooling water before the water is led through the engine's cooling system. The filter element is made of nylon with fine capillary openings, while the transparent cover makes it possible to quickly check the condition of the filter without first opening the housing.
The filter housing is made of black Moplen polypropylene, and the cover is made of transparent polycarbonate. The combination provides a robust filter housing with a clear view of the filter element. The product measures Ø 145 mm and has a height of 190 mm.
The design is manufactured in accordance with current RINA regulations for this product type. When selecting and installing, the thread size, required water flow, piping, and available mounting space must be suitable for the engine's raw water-based cooling system.
