This UTP RJ45 cable for Victron control systems is a 2 m long communication cable for data connections between compatible VE.Bus and VE.Can devices. The cable is grey and equipped with an RJ45 interface.
The cable can be used for interconnecting multiple VE.Bus devices and for connections between Victron devices and compatible control or monitoring equipment. Documented compatibility includes Digital Multi Control, Inverter Control, MK3-USB Interface as well as GX connections and GX devices.
UTP stands for Unshielded Twisted Pair and is the cable type used for stable data transfer in these communication connections. The installation requirements for Victron systems specify a straight RJ45 UTP cable with pin-to-pin connection; crossover cables must not be used.
The cable can, among other things, be used with the VE.Bus to USB interface item no. 14.270.39. Digital Multi Control item no. 14.270.32 also requires an RJ45 cable for the system connection.
