Horizontal suction strainer in AISI 316 stainless steel for Ø 38 mm hose is intended for installation in the suction line of a marine water or pump system. The integrated filter screen retains larger impurities before the fluid is passed on through the system.
The suction strainer has a built-in non-return valve, which prevents backflow in the suction line. The connection fits a hose with a 38 mm internal diameter, equivalent to approx. 1½″.
The robust construction is precision-cast in AISI 316 stainless steel. The filter screen is also made of stainless steel, making the construction suitable for marine installations.
The product is designed for horizontal or side-mounted installation. The mounting base measures 115 × 100 mm, the product height is 62 mm, and the separate filter grid is specified as 118 × 102 mm. The base measurement and the filter grid measurement describe different parts of the product.
