This waterproof plastic cable connector housing is a 2-pin female variant for building a waterproof electrical cable connector. The housing is designed for cable installations where the connection needs to be protected against water and dust.
The design accommodates two female contacts and is part of an IP67-rated connector system. The product family is designed for electrical connections with cables up to 1.2 mm² and is compliant with ISO 15083.
The housing is used with a brass female contact, item no. 14.236.46. The corresponding 2-pin male half has item no. 14.235.40. The contacts and the necessary silicone seals, item no. 14.236.48, are separate components for building and waterproofing the connection.
A complete 2-pin connection is built using one female housing, one male housing, two female contacts, two male contacts, and four silicone seals. This ensures that each conductor has the correct contact and cable seal.
The item is supplied in a pack of 5 cable connector housings. Contacts and seals are selected separately according to the configuration of the connection.
