This watertight shore power inlet in AISI 316 stainless steel is a fixed, round male inlet for the boat's shore power connection. The inlet is designed for 220/110 V and a maximum current of 30 A.
The round front is made of AISI 316 stainless steel, while the housing is made of white, UV-resistant Luran. The contacts are made of silver-plated brass, and the rear cable protection shields the cabling on the inside of the installation.
The inlet has an IPX7 rating and a round cover with a snap-fit closure. The construction protects the electrical connection in the demanding maritime environment when the cover is properly closed.
The product is mounted as a fixed inlet with a round flange. The total height is 82 mm, the height to the cover is stated as 54 mm, the base diameter is 93 mm, and the cover diameter is 100 mm.
The corresponding blue 30 A female connector has item no. 14.332.00. The marine cables 14.592.00 and 14.592.01 are documented for the inlet but are rated for 10 A and 16 A respectively, and therefore not for the inlet's full maximum of 30 A.
