Waterproof sealed-beam replacement lamp of 12 V and 100 W for marine searchlights and spreader lights. The lamp has a nominal diameter of 178 mm (7") and is designed as a sealed PAR56 incandescent lamp.
The sealed-beam construction combines the light source, reflector, and front lens into a single sealed lamp unit. This variant is directly documented as a replacement lamp for the DHR searchlight with item no. 13.342.12, which is a 12 V model with a searchlight diameter of 185 mm.
In the compatible DHR searchlight, the PAR56 lamp is specified with a luminous intensity of 225,000 cd, a range of 475 m, and a beam spread of 9° × 5°. These lighting data apply to the lamp in the associated DHR searchlight's optical installation and should not be considered universal values without the relevant searchlight housing.
When replacing, the power must be switched off, and the lamp must cool down before opening the searchlight housing. The sealed-beam unit is pressed out of the metal ring, after which the neoprene gasket is checked for wear and treated with talcum powder before reassembly.
