Water-separating fuel filter with a 30 µm filter cartridge is intended for the filtration of diesel and the separation of water from the fuel. The complete filter consists of an aluminum head, a replaceable high-capacity filter cartridge, and an aluminum water collection bowl.
The filter has documented flow rates of 206 l/h at 0.49 PSI, 331 l/h at 1.47 PSI, and 414 l/h at 2.45 PSI. The values indicate the flow rate at different pressure drops and make it possible to evaluate the filter in relation to the requirements of the fuel system.
The total height is 280 mm, the diameter is 92 mm, and the specified protrusion is 110 mm. The filter cartridge has an 11/16" thread. The design is universally dimensioned for various engine types, but no specific engine makes or engine models are specified.
Two conical hose barbs for a 10 mm fuel hose are included. The barbs are self-locking and self-sealing, and the set also includes plugs for closing unused connection ports as well as stainless steel hose clamps. The water collection bowl is equipped with a chrome-plated brass plug.
The filter cartridge can be replaced during service. The documented spare cartridge has item no. 17.661.28 and a filter rating of 30 µm.
